Super Home Challenges

Hello,

For the duration of our school closure Marty the Colour Monster and I will be reading and uploading a weekly story along with five ‘Super Challenges’ inspired by the story for you to complete at home.

If you complete 2 of our super challenges you will receive a bronze superstar certificate.

If you complete 3 of our super challenges you will receive a silver superstar certificate.

If you complete 4 of our super challenges you will receive a gold superstar certificate.

If you complete 5 of our super challenges you will receive a rainbow superstar certificate.

Your certificates will be emailed to you via the email address you gave us on your contact details. We will be reading a new story every Friday accompanied by new super challenges for you to complete.

Please upload these onto Tapestry so we can see what super learners you are being at home. We hope you have lots of fun completing these!

The challenges are available to view here or to download via Tapestry. Please note that they are not compulsory and are just for fun whilst learning from home. They are also not something you can ‘fall behind’ on so don’t panic if you don’t complete them before I introduce the next story and challenges. Just do the ones your child would like to do ☺️. Here are some more photographs of you completing our super home challenges! I would like to say a big thank you to parents for being so supportive of your children’s home learning, taking time to complete the challenges with them and uploading photographs of them for us to see. It has been lovely to see the other activities you have been doing at home together as a family too.

A message to all parents/carers to say a big thank you for all of your help over the past eight weeks in supporting your children’s learning at home. It has been wonderful to see all of the photographs and videos you have been uploading onto Tapestry showcasing all of the amazing learning and experiences you are providing for your children at home. Lots of your children have been baking, painting and dancing; others have succeeded in great achievements such as riding their bike without stabilisers and some have been helping to look after baby brothers and sisters. (I can see lots of you have been to see the famous Moor Bears.) But most of all it looks like you have all been having fun together making memories as a family! Here are some lovely photographs you have shared with us of you completing our super challenges and having fun at home.
